Below are two identical pictures of David taken at the Detling antiques fair. Except of course they are not identical! Can you spot the ten differences?

The prize for the winner is a Spode cup and saucer which David has given especially for this competition.

The competition has now finished and the winner is;

Miss Naomi Ragsdell from Derby.

Congratulations to Naomi.

The differences are;

One of the honours missing from Prince Philips jacket.

Glass missing far left of table.

Table leg missing.

Shoe lace of man far left of picture has gone.

David's ID label half missing.

Hogarth picture David is holding has changed.

Bottle on far right of table missing.

Grill on radiator behind David's hand missing.

Man far right no longer wearing glasses.

Woman's hand far right missing.

The prize for this competition was a Stevenson and Hancock Derby porcelain dish. This prize had been bought by David himself especially  for this competition.

The competition has now finished so it's time to announce the winner and the answer.  But I would first like to thank everyone who entered. Sorry if you didn't win, but there will be another competition later in the year.

Now for the winner:

Congratulations to Mrs. Christine Bentley from Gloucester.

The answer is

'Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful'

by William Morris,  founder of  the Arts and Crafts movement.
